Delhi-NCR should be prepared for freezing winter, severe cold wave will hit UP-Rajasthan-Punjab

New Delhi: People facing harsh winter in North India should get ready to face more cold weather. Cold is going to increase from the hilly states to the plains, especially in Rajasthan, Haryana, Punjab, Uttar Pradesh. Here, in the next few days, there may be conditions of severe cold wave and not cold wave.

At the same time, the cold wave is going to intensify in Delhi NCR also because heavy rains are going to start here in the next few days. Due to rain, the cold weather here will become even colder. Strong cold westerly winds along with rain are going to create severe cold conditions.

Today’s forecast by private weather forecasting agency Skymet says that under possible weather activity during the next 24 hours, cold day to severe cold day conditions may continue over parts of North Rajasthan, Haryana and Punjab.Talking about the weather of Delhi NCR, it is said that last Thursday was very cold for Delhi.

Here in Safdarjung area, the maximum temperature was 12.5 degrees Celsius and the minimum temperature was also recorded at 7 degrees Celsius. Meteorologists of the agency say that the people of Delhi NCR should get ready for the freezing cold. There will be rain in Delhi and its surrounding areas on January 9. Relief is expected only after January 11.
