Weather Update: Drizzle likely in Delhi-NCR today, heatwave in these 3 states

New Delhi. There is a possibility of drizzle in Delhi-NCR today. In Delhi-NCR, on the evening of 20 April, with strong wind, hail fell at many places along with rain. According to the India Meteorological Department, the maximum temperature of Delhi is expected to be 37 degree Celsius today and the minimum temperature is expected to be 21 degree Celsius.

While the weather is expected to remain dry in Uttar Pradesh today. The maximum temperature remained in the range of 40 to 44 degree Celsius over East India and parts of East Uttar Pradesh, Central India, Interior Maharashtra and Rayalaseema.

Whereas, except in the western Himalayan region (12-25 °C), the maximum temperature in the rest of the country remained in the range of 35-40 °C. Gangetic West Bengal has been under severe heatwave conditions for the last 10 days. ,

Whereas in Bihar for the last 7 days and in Odisha for the last 5 days, heat wave conditions have prevailed. The IMD has predicted severe heatwave conditions in parts of Gangetic West Bengal in eastern India.
