Rain in Delhi-NCR even today, rain expected in these states as well

New Delhi. Light rain or drizzle may occur in Delhi-NCR today and the sky is expected to be generally cloudy. According to the India Meteorological Department, the maximum temperature in Delhi is expected to be 37 degree Celsius and the minimum temperature is expected to be 21 degree Celsius.

On May 6, the maximum temperature in Delhi was recorded at 35.1 degree Celsius. Which was 4 degree Celsius less than normal. Whereas in Delhi, the minimum temperature was recorded at 21 degree Celsius. Which was 4 degree Celsius less than normal. According to IMD, the weather is expected to remain dry in most areas of Uttar Pradesh today.

According to IMD, there is a possibility of hailstorm with lightning at different places of Himachal Pradesh and Uttarakhand on May 7. On the other hand, there is a possibility of lightning along with thunderstorms at different places in Jammu and Kashmir, Ladakh, Punjab, Sub-Himalayan West Bengal and Sikkim, Gujarat, Tamil Nadu, Puducherry and Karaikal, Kerala and Mahe, Karnataka and Telangana.

At the same time, the cyclonic storm is gaining momentum in the Bay of Bengal. The IMD has predicted squally weather (wind speed reaching 40-50 kmph gusting to 60 kmph) over southeast Bay of Bengal and adjoining areas of Andaman and Nicobar Islands and Andaman Sea has expressed. Fishermen have been advised not to venture into these areas.
