New Delhi. In the capital Delhi, it is expected to be generally hot today. According to IMD, the sky will be generally cloudy on July 21. Today the maximum temperature in Delhi is expected to reach 39 degree Celsius.

On July 20, the maximum temperature in Delhi was recorded at 38.4 degree Celsius, which was 3 degree Celsius above normal. According to IMD, today a red alert has been issued for heavy rains in many districts. Heavy to very heavy rainfall is likely at isolated places over Konkan & Goa, Madhya Maharashtra and Gujarat.

Today there is a possibility of heavy to very heavy rain at different places in Uttarakhand, East Rajasthan, West Madhya Pradesh, Vidarbha, Odisha, Telangana and Chhattisgarh. Orange alert has been issued in view of heavy rains in all these states today.

The IMD has also predicted heavy rain at isolated places over Jammu and Kashmir, Ladakh, Himachal Pradesh, Haryana, Chandigarh, East Madhya Pradesh, Andaman and Nicobar Islands, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram, Tripura, Karnataka, Kerala and Mahe today. expressed hope.
