Heavy rain from Bihar to Rajasthan, IMD gives big update on weather

New Delhi: According to IMD, there is a possibility of light or moderate rain in West Bengal and Sikkim till September 24 and in Bihar till September 23 and heavy rain at some places.

For the capital Delhi, the Meteorological Department has predicted sporadic rain for September 23. From September 23 onwards, the weather in Delhi-NCR will once again become dry.

Skymet Weather has predicted moderate to heavy rain in Sub-Himalayan West Bengal, Sikkim, West Assam and North-East Bihar.Amid continuous rains in many parts of Kerala, IMD on Friday issued a ‘Yellow Alert’ warning of heavy rains at different places in seven districts.

The Meteorological Department has predicted heavy rain in Thiruvananthapuram, Kollam, Pathanamthitta, Alappuzha, Kottayam, Idukki and Ernakulam districts.

Apart from this, there is a possibility of storm, moderate rain and heavy rain in the coming hours in the northern districts including Kozhikode, Wayanad, Kannur and Kasaragod.

The Meteorological Department has predicted heavy to very heavy rain at isolated places in Sub-Himalayan West Bengal and Sikkim, Bihar and Assam and Meghalaya today.
