It will rain in most of the states of the country today, hail may fall in 8 states

New Delhi. In Delhi-NCR, on April 24, the sky will be generally cloudy and light rain or drizzle may occur. According to the India Meteorological Department, today the maximum temperature in Delhi can be 32 degree Celsius and the minimum temperature can be 21 degree Celsius.

Due to the clouds, there was a lot of relief from the scorching heat in the Delhi-NCR area during the last 24 hours. In the last 24 hours, the maximum temperature was recorded at 31.3 degree Celsius, which was 6 degree Celsius less than normal. There is a possibility of rain or thundershowers at many places in the eastern part of Uttar Pradesh today.

Except for Arunachal Pradesh, Tamil Nadu, Puducherry, Karaikal, Kerala and Mahe, the maximum temperature remained normal or below normal in most parts of the country. The maximum temperature at these places is 2-3 degree Celsius above normal.

However, heat wave conditions were not observed anywhere in the country in the last one day. According to IMD, there is no possibility of heat wave in most parts of India during the next 5 days. For the last few days, due to thunderstorms and rains in many parts of the country, people have got some relief from the scorching heat.

The IMD has predicted hailstorm at isolated places over Sub-Himalayan West Bengal and Sikkim from April 23 to 25. On April 24, there is a possibility of hailstorm at many places in Odisha, Bihar and Chhattisgarh.

While there is a possibility of hailstorm at some places in Vidarbha during April 24 and 25. In South India, hailstorm is expected at many places in Coastal Andhra Pradesh, Yanam and Telangana on April 24. The IMD has predicted hailstorm at different places in Marathwada during April 26 to 27.
