New Delhi. In Delhi-NCR today there is a possibility of partly cloudy sky and very light rain in the night. Rain, drizzle or showers are expected in Delhi for the next 4-5 days.
According to IMD, before the rains, the maximum temperature in Delhi could go up to 43 degree Celsius. On May 22, Delhi recorded a maximum temperature of 43.7°C, which was 3°C above normal.
IMD has expressed the possibility of rain at many places in Uttar Pradesh today. It may also rain in UP for the next few days. IMD has predicted heavy to very heavy rainfall at some places in Assam and Meghalaya on 23 May.
While heavy rains may occur at many places in Jammu-Kashmir, Ladakh, Himachal Pradesh, Sub-Himalayan West Bengal and Sikkim. According to IMD, there is a possibility of rain with lightning, strong winds and thunder at many places in Uttarakhand, Punjab, Haryana, Jharkhand and Odisha today.

IMD has predicted hailstorm with lightning and storm at many places in Bengal, Himachal Pradesh, Bihar and Sikkim. On the other hand, there is a possibility of thunderstorm or dust storm with lightning and strong winds at different places in Rajasthan. IMD has expressed the possibility of heat wave in different areas of Jharkhand.
