Relief from heat in Delhi-NCR, it will rain in 13 states, hail alert in 5 states

New Delhi. Delhi-NCR is expected to get respite from the heat today. According to IMD, the sky will be partly cloudy in Delhi-NCR today. The maximum temperature in Delhi is expected to be 36 degree Celsius and the minimum temperature is expected to be 18 degree Celsius.

On April 24, the maximum temperature of Delhi was recorded at 34.5 degree Celsius. Which was 3 degree Celsius less than normal. The minimum temperature in Delhi was recorded at 19 degree Celsius, which was 4 degree Celsius less than normal. At the same time, the weather is expected to be stormy in the eastern part of Uttar Pradesh.

According to IMD, there is a possibility of rain, lightning and thundershowers at many places in eastern Uttar Pradesh. While the weather in West Uttar Pradesh is likely to remain generally dry.

A day ago, there was very light rain or showers with thunder at many places in eastern UP. It rained at some places in western UP as well. Maximum rainfall (2 cm) was recorded in Mohammadabad of Ghazipur district.

After this Haidergarh (District Barabanki) 1 cm, Nawabganj Tehsil (District Barabanki) 1 cm. Rain has been recorded. The maximum temperature in UP was recorded at Lakhimpur Kheri at 41.0°C and the lowest minimum temperature in the state was recorded at Jhansi at 17.8°C.

According to IMD, the maximum temperature is between 34-40 degree Celsius in many parts of Rajasthan, Odisha, central, west and south peninsular India. Maximum temperatures are 2-5 degrees Celsius below normal over most parts of northwest, central and east India and near normal over rest of the country.

No heat wave conditions likely over most parts of India during next 7 days. There is a possibility of hailstorm at many places in Odisha between April 25 and 27. There is a possibility of hailstorm at isolated places in Vidarbha, Telangana and Chhattisgarh on April 25-26 and in East Madhya Pradesh on April 26.
