Rain expected in Delhi-NCR today, orange alert issued for heavy rains in 5 states.

New Delhi. Today in Delhi-NCR, the sky will be cloudy and it may rain. Due to which people will get relief from the humid heat. According to the India Meteorological Department, on July 28, the maximum temperature in Delhi can be 34 degree Celsius.

On July 27, the maximum temperature in Delhi was recorded at 34.8 degree Celsius. The IMD has predicted heavy to very heavy rainfall at isolated places over East Madhya Pradesh, Vidarbha, Chhattisgarh, Konkan and Goa, Madhya Maharashtra, Telangana, Arunachal Pradesh, Assam and Meghalaya on July 28.

Orange alert has been issued for very heavy rains in East Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, Konkan and Goa, Vidarbha, Madhya Maharashtra and Telangana today. IMD has predicted lightening and rain with strong thunderstorm at isolated places in Andaman and Nicobar Islands today.

Today Jammu and Kashmir, Ladakh, Himachal Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Punjab, Haryana, Chandigarh, Delhi, Uttar Pradesh, Rajasthan, West Madhya Pradesh, Sub-Himalayan West Bengal, Sikkim, Odisha, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram, Tripura, Gujarat, Coastal And heavy rain is expected at isolated places over North Interior Karnataka.

On the other hand, there is a possibility of rain with thunderstorm and lightning at isolated places in West Bengal and Sikkim, Bihar, Jharkhand, Coastal Andhra Pradesh and Yanam, Rayalaseema, Telangana.
