Delhi Police detained female wrestlers Sakshi Malik and Vinesh Phogat

Wrestlers Protest:The wrestlers sitting on the dharna have announced to protest in front of the new parliament building. Due to this Delhi Police has increased the security in the state. State borders have been sealed.

Wrestlers, who have been on strike for a month, announced on Saturday that a women’s mahapanchayat would be held in front of the new parliament. On the one hand, the inauguration program of the new Parliament House is going on today.

On the other hand, Delhi Police is trying hard not to allow wrestlers, people of Khap Panchayat and farmers to come near the new Parliament House.

Indian Wrestling Federation chief Brij Bhushan is demanding the arrest of Sharan Singh on the allegations of harassment. After the announcement of women’s mahapanchayat in front of the new parliament, the police have increased vigil on Delhi-UP border, Delhi-Riyana border.

Vehicles are being checked by putting barricades on the roads. At the same time, while increasing vigilance in the metro, all the entry-exit doors of the Central Secretariat and Udyog Bhawan metro stations have been closed.

Rakesh Tikait said that no action is taken against those who are in the government. We are going to Delhi so we are being stopped. After all why what is the reason. What’s going wrong with wrestlers.

The government should make it clear that no action will be taken against those who are in the government and action will be taken against those who are not in the government. We are sitting on the Ghazipur border. Will sit here till 2-3 o’clock. Our movement was successful.

Indian Farmers Union leader Rakesh Tikait, who was going for ‘Mahila Mahapanchayat’ outside the new Parliament House, was stopped by the police at Ghazipur border. After this the farmers broke the barricades.
