Ahmedabad: The news of a painful road accident has come to light from Ahmedabad in Gujarat. A Jaguar car ran over people on the Sarkhej-Gandhinagar highway in Ahmedabad on Thursday, killing 9 including a police constable.
Among the dead are youths from Surendranagar in Botad district. Jaguar’s speed was more than 150 km. There is also news of 15 people being injured in this accident. All the injured have been admitted to a city hospital.
There was another accident on the ISKCON bridge in the early hours of Thursday, in which a truck hit a Thar SUV. The driver absconded after this accident. A crowd gathered on the spot.
Meanwhile, a high speed Jaguar car came out trampling the people present on the bridge. Police said that car driver Satya Patel is also included in the injured. The flyover near the ISKCON temple has been temporarily closed by the police.
