Ayodhya. The news of a painful accident has come to the fore from Ayodhya. This accident happened on Friday, in which more than a dozen people were seriously injured, while 5 people died.
The truck overturned on the private bus running between Lucknow to Tanda, after which many people got buried in it. The rescue operation went on for more than 1 hour, in which SDRF was also involved apart from the police of the district. More than 10 ambulances were involved in the rescue operation.
The injured have been admitted to the district hospital and trauma center Darshan Nagar for treatment. Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has also taken cognizance of the accident and put all the hospitals in the district on alert mode. At present, by the time the rescue operation was completed, 5 people had died and more than a dozen people were seriously injured.
Apart from District Magistrate Ayodhya, IG Praveen Kumar, DIG and SSP, the command of the rescue operation was handled by Senior Superintendent of Police Nagar and all jurisdictional officers. The accident happened at booth number four of Lucknow-Gorakhpur National Highway in Raiganj Chowki area of Ayodhya Kotwali.
