Jaipur. BJP has played a big bet in the expansion of Bhajanlal cabinet in Rajasthan by making the party’s candidate from Srikaranpur assembly seat, Surendrapal Singh TT, a minister. Assembly elections have not been held yet in Srikaranpur assembly seat of Sriganganagar district. Voting there was postponed due to the death of Congress candidate Gurmit Singh Kunnar before voting.

Congress has raised questions on making Surendrapal Singh TT a minister.Congress has called it a violation of the Model Code of Conduct. But BJP has tried to consolidate its victory there by making TT a minister even before the elections. Surendra Pal Singh belongs to TT Sikh community. He is a big face of the Sikh community in the party.

Voting is to be held in Srikaranpur on January 5. This time BJP has won 115 seats out of 200 assembly seats in Rajasthan.According to experts, Surendrapal Singh TT was informed about this by calling him before the oath taking ceremony today. On this he left his election campaign in TT area and ran to Jaipur.

As soon as he came here, he was made a minister. Surendrapal Singh TT has been made Minister of State with Independent Charge in the Bhajanlal government. Surendrapal TT has previously been a minister in the BJP government.Surendrapal Singh TT has done BA from Sri Ganganagar Khalsa College. Surendrapal Singh, born on January 1, 1952, was working as TT in the Indian Railways Department from 1973 to 1999.

He has been the divisional vice president of Northern Railway Men’s Union. He has made a national record in 400 meter hurdles. After coming into politics, apart from being the state minister of BJP, he has also been the district president of Sri Ganganagar district and the state president of Kisan Morcha. He has been a member of the 12th and 14th Legislative Assembly.
