Chandigarh. The state government will take action in this matter.Meanwhile, Shiromani Akali Dal (SAD) asked Mann to file a case against SAD chief Sukhbir Badal to prove the allegations or apologize for telling ‘malicious lies’. It said that failing to do so, he should be prepared to face another defamation case.

Mann claimed at the press conference that the Badal family had claimed tax exemption of Rs 108 crore for the luxury hotel project for a ten-year period from 2007-2017.The Aam Aadmi Party leader claimed that the Akali government framed the Punjab Eco-Tourism Policy, 2009 to ‘facilitate’ the construction of hotels. Mann said that the entire money of the taxpayers will be recovered.

Shiromani Akali Dal chief spokesperson Arshdeep Singh Kaler termed the allegations as ‘false’ and said that these allegations have been made only to divert attention from the ‘zero FIR’ lodged in the case of the death of farmer Shubhakaran Singh.
