There is news that Amritpal Singh is preparing to contest elections from Khadur Sahib as an independent candidate.Now Amritpal’s mother has given a statement regarding his election. According to news agency ANI, Amritpal’s mother Balwinder Kaur herself has approved his contesting the elections. While announcing, he said that Amritpal Singh was not in favor of contesting the elections, but now in view of the ‘situation’ he has to do so.
He further said that ‘Amritpal Singh was being pressurized to contest elections and now he is going to start his political innings from Khadur Sahib Lok Sabha. He will not contest this election from any party. Amritpal knows the issues of Punjab very well and this election will be fought on those issues only.
