New Delhi. Delhi Police has arrested Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal’s PA and main accused Bibhav Kumar in the case of misbehavior and assault with Swati Maliwal. Swati Maliwal had gone to the CM’s residence on May 13 to meet Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal. It is alleged that there CA Arvind Kejriwal’s PA Bibhav Kumar not only misbehaved with him but also beat him up.
A senior officer of Delhi Police met Swati Maliwali and took information from her about the incident. Later, a case was registered against Bibhav Kumar under non-bailable section and other sections of IPC. The police was searching for Bibhav Kumar since the FIR was registered.
Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal’s PA Bibhav Kumar has been arrested by Delhi Police from CM House itself. Sources said that due to security reasons, the police team took him with them through the back door of the Chief Minister’s residence. Bibhav Kumar, arrested in the Swati Maliwal assault case, has been brought to Civil Line police station.
As per the prescribed procedure, first his medical examination will be done and then he will be produced before the competent magistrate and custody will be sought, so that Bibhav Kumar can be interrogated about the incident. Let us tell you that Section 354 of IPC has also been imposed on accused Bibhav, which is non-bailable.
Former chairperson of Delhi Women’s Commission, Swati Maliwal was allegedly misbehaved and beaten at the Chief Minister’s residence itself. Now the main accused in the case, Bibhav Kumar, has also been taken into custody from the CM residence itself. National Commission for Women Chairperson Rekha Sharma has made a big attack on Bibhav Kumar’s detention from the CM residence.
Rekha Sharma said, ‘Delhi Chief Minister’s aide Bibhav Kumar has been arrested from the Chief Minister’s residence. In such a situation, the Chief Minister was giving shelter to the alleged criminal.
