New Delhi: ED raid against Rajkumar Anand, minister in Arvind Kejriwal government of Delhi, has ended. After completing the investigation at the house of Delhi Cabinet Minister Rajkumar Anand at around 4:15 in the morning, the ED i.e. Enforcement Directorate team went back.
In this way, the ED team remained present at Rajkumar Anand’s house for about 21 to 22 hours and all the documents including electronic gadgets inside the house were examined. At present, the information about what the ED has got from Rajkumar Anand’s house has not been revealed.
It is believed that ED will reveal the details of the action through a press conference. Let us tell you that ED officials had reached Rajkumar Anand’s house at around 6:30 am on Thursday morning and the raid took place from then till today morning.
In fact, the Enforcement Directorate (ED) on Thursday raided the premises of Delhi Cabinet Minister and Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) leader Rajkumar Anand and some other places as part of its investigation into a money laundering case.
Sources said that the raid operation started at 6.30 am at a dozen places including the minister’s premises located in the Civil Lines area of the national capital. A team of Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) was also there along with the teams of the Directorate which were conducting the raid. The investigation against Rajkumar Anand is being conducted under the provisions of the Prevention of Money Laundering Act (PMLA).
