ED action again early in the morning in West Bengal, now raids the house of Parth Chatterjee’s close friend

Kolkata: ED’s action has once again been seen in West Bengal. ED i.e. Enforcement Directorate has raided in Kolkata on the relatives of former West Bengal Education Minister and jailed TMC leader Partha Chatterjee.

It is being told that ED raids are going on at many places in Kolkata in connection with the teacher recruitment scam. Sources said that security forces personnel are also present along with the ED team.In fact, the Enforcement Directorate on Friday started raids at the residence and office of a builder, who is considered close to former West Bengal minister Partha Chatterjee, in connection with the investigation into alleged irregularities in recruitment in primary schools in West Bengal.

ED teams along with central forces raided an office and three flats of the businessman, one of which is right opposite Chatterjee’s house in Naktala in southern Kolkata, an official said.According to ED, the builder has played an important role in this scam.

The ED official said that it seems that the person has helped the arrested minister in investing the money received from the scam in various projects. Partha Chatterjee was arrested by the central agency in connection with alleged irregularities in recruitment in government-aided schools.

ED had earlier questioned the builder twice in connection with the alleged scam. The officer said several documents and bank statements seized from the man’s possession proved that Partha Chatterjee had taken his help to invest the money obtained from the primary school scam. Let us tell you that before this, ED action was seen in the ration scam case recently.
