Bengal: ED’s big action, absconding TMC leader Shahjahan’s house raided again

Kolkata: ED’s action was once again seen on Wednesday morning in the ration scam case in West Bengal. ED team has arrived to raid the house of absconding TMC leader Shahjahan Sheikh. It is being told that the ED team has entered the house of absconding TMC leader Shahjahan in Sandeshkhali, North 24 Parganas by breaking the lock.

Along with the ED team, the Central Force team is also present. Central forces have been deployed from the house of TMC leader Shahjahan Sheikh to the road. There are about 100 soldiers along with the ED team, who have surrounded the TMC leader’s house. Let us tell you that ED has issued a lookout notice.

Let us tell you that in the ration scam case, just 19 days before this, the ED team had reached the house of TMC leader Shahjahan Sheikh to raid, where the supporters of the TMC leader had attacked the ED team, in which many officers were injured. When the ED team reached Shahjahan Sheikh’s house on Wednesday morning to raid, the local police also came threatening them and asking for a search warrant from the ED team.

It was told that the lock of the TMC leader’s house was broken by lock pickers.If sources are to be believed, the local police wanted the entire search to be videographed by the state police, which has been rejected by the ED. There will be two witnesses who will be with the police at the time of the raid. ED has given assurance of this.

Local police sources say that this time the ED had informed the local police even before reaching Shahjahan’s residence. ED is now breaking the lock of Shahjahan residence.It is noteworthy that it is alleged that hundreds of supporters of TMC leader Shahjahan Sheikh had recently attacked the team of ED and paramilitary forces.

During the attack, several media vehicles present at the spot were also vandalized. Ti-Bangla’s correspondent was also assaulted, his car was vandalized and the camera was broken. Supporters of TMT leader Sheikh attacked ED officers, due to which the raid could not be conducted.
