New Delhi. The National Investigation Agency has achieved major success in targeting the Indian High Commission in London and the Indian Consulate in San Francisco, USA.
The NIA has identified 15 attackers, two months after releasing photographs of 45 people in connection with the attack on the Indian Embassy during a protest in London on March 19.
Apart from this, NIA has also identified five Khalistani supporters, who allegedly targeted the Indian Consulate in San Francisco, USA on July 2.
The people who have been identified are residents of Britain and Canada and now Indian agencies are preparing to contact the investigating agencies of the respective countries and take strict action against these accused.
Another NIA team is going to visit Canada next month as part of the investigation into the Khalistani attack on Indians. After identifying the 15 people, the next challenge for the NIA is to convince the UK government to take action against them, as the UK does not have a law similar to India’s UAPA.
