Lucknow. An encounter took place between police and Gufran at 5 am on Tuesday in Samda area of Kaushambi district of Uttar Pradesh. Here the criminal Gufran, carrying a prize of Rs 1.25 lakh, has been killed by the police in an encounter. There were 13 cases registered against Gufran.
According to the information, the STF team killed Gufran, the culprit of the encounter. A 9 mm carbine, a 32 bore pistol and an Apache bike have been recovered from the encounter site.
It is being told that Gufran was wanted in 7 cases like murder, robbery, attempt to murder. A reward of one lakh rupees was kept on Gufran by ADG Prayagraj.
On the other hand, a reward of 25 thousand was kept on Gufran by the Sultanpur police. More than 13 serious cases were registered on Gufran in Pratapgarh, Sultanpur districts.
A few months ago in April, a jeweler was shot and a sensational robbery was carried out in Pratapgarh. It is being told that Gufran was the young man who opened fire after looting.
