Kushinagar. 6 people of the same family died in a fire in Kushinagar, Uttar Pradesh. The dead include a woman and her 5 children. Due to this incident which happened late on Wednesday night, the entire area became inconsolable.
Father Navami was sleeping outside the house at the time of the incident, while his wife Sangeeta was sleeping inside the house with their 5 children. Sangeeta and her 5 children were trapped inside the house due to fire while sleeping, due to which all of them died.
After getting the information, the fire brigade team reached the spot and extinguished the fire and took out all the dead bodies. After getting the information of the incident, DM and SP reached the spot in the night itself. After sending all the dead bodies for postmortem, an inquiry has been ordered into the matter.
In Urdha number two of Ramkola Nagar, a person named Navami slept with his wife and 5 children after having dinner. Navami slept outside the house due to the heat, while his wife Sangeeta slept inside the house with children Ankit, Laxmina, Rita, Geeta and Babu.
Suddenly the house caught fire in the night. Navami’s eyes opened on seeing the flames. Navami tries to extinguish the fire, but by then it was too late. Due to the lonely house on the banks of the canal, even the people of the village could not reach immediately for help.
Due to which the fire spread in the whole house. Sangeeta age 38, her children 10 year old Ankit, 9 year old Laxmina, 3 year old Rita, 2 year old Geeta and 1 year old Babu were burnt to death in the house.
On receiving information about the fire, the police and fire brigade team of Ramkola police station reached the spot and extinguished the fire and took out all the dead bodies. The reasons for the fire are yet to be known.
After getting the information, DM Ramesh Ranjan and SP Dhawal Jaiswal reached the spot in the night. The DM has ordered an inquiry into the cause of the incident.
