Mumbai: The court’s decision has come in the actress Laila Khan murder case. The Sessions Court of Mumbai has sentenced convict Parvez Tak to death. It is worth noting here that after 13 years the court has announced the punishment in this case. Parvez Tak is the stepfather of deceased Laila Khan.
In February 2011, Parvez Tak brutally murdered Laila Khan and five other members of her family at a farm house in Igatpuri, Maharashtra and buried the body underground.On May 9, the Sessions Court had convicted Parvez Tak in the Laila Khan murder case and had reserved its decision on announcing the punishment.
Actually, after a dispute over property, Parvez Tak had killed his stepdaughter Laila Khan. Not only this, murderer Parvez had killed 6 people including Laila’s mother. This incident is of February 2011.In this matter, the first complaint of missing of 6 people was registered in 2011 at Oshiwara Police Station in Mumbai. This matter remained very complicated for a long time.
However, the police recovered 6 skeletons from the farm house in Igatpuri in July 2012. In the same year, in October 2012, Mumbai Police had filed its charge sheet in the Laila Khan murder case. The second accused in this case, Shakir Hussain, is still absconding. The police have not been able to catch him yet.
