On Thursday, many MPs were suspended and the proceedings of Lok Sabha and Rajya Sabha had to be adjourned due to the uproar. The opposition’s uproar continues over lapses in the security of Parliament.
On his suspension from the Lok Sabha, DMK MP K Kanimozhi says, ‘BJP is repeatedly saying that they are the only ones who can protect the country but they cannot even protect the Parliament.
The Prime Minister could have been there inside the Parliament. They could not protect their own Prime Minister and then they are saying that we are politicizing the issue… The government should be held responsible for whatever happens. He will be held responsible for any violation of security in the country.
