Chandigarh. The Punjab government has submitted its report regarding Operation Amritpal to the Union Home Ministry. The Union Home Ministry had summoned the report related to Amritpal Singh from the Punjab government after his arrest on Sunday.
In this report, the Ministry of Home Affairs had also sought full details of those who gave shelter to Amritpal Singh during his absconding. The Home Ministry had also asked to give the location movement report of Amritpal Singh, after which the Punjab government on Tuesday handed over the entire record to the Union Home Ministry.
The National Investigation Agency has also submitted its initial investigation report regarding Amritpal to the Ministry of Home Affairs. It has come to light that he was using a foreign number during the absconding.
He was in constant touch with his colleagues through WhatsApp calling. Foreign funding and ISI connections are also mentioned in the report. Even after his arrest, Amritpal Singh is being investigated in detail, so that his entire network can be traced.
