Earthquake of 3.9 magnitude occurred in Pakistan

Islamabad. After Indonesia, the tremors of the earthquake were felt in Pakistan as well. On Friday morning, this earthquake occurred 29 km west of Pakistan’s capital Islamabad at 06.06 am local time. The intensity of the earthquake has been measured at 3.9 on the Richter scale.

Earlier, a strong earthquake occurred on Friday in Tobelo, located 177 km north of Indonesia. The intensity of the earthquake has been measured at 6.3 on the Richter scale. The US Geological Survey (USGS) gave this information. Along with northern Maluku in Indonesia, the tremor was also felt in some parts of the Philippines.

According to the local time, this earthquake occurred at 05.02 am. The epicenter was located 142 km north-west of Daruba, North Maluku on the island of Morotai, at a sea depth of 107 km. The agency said that there is no possibility of a tsunami from the earthquake.
