Jhajjar. Mild tremors of earthquake were felt in Jhajjar district of Haryana. Here earthquakes of magnitude 3.3 on the Richter scale were felt. On feeling the tremors of the earthquake, people came out of their houses, shops and offices.
According to the information, the village of Seria in Jhajjar district has been the epicenter of the earthquake. Mild earthquake tremors were felt at around 12.29 pm. As of now, there is no news of any loss of life or property.
The National Center for Seismology has also shared the information about the earthquake through tweet. The epicenter of the earthquake has been Jhajjar district adjacent to the country’s capital. Its depth has been measured at 8 kilometers from the ground surface.
That means these earthquake waves have originated from 8 kilometers inside the ground. According to the Richter scale, an earthquake of 3.3 speed is very mild. That’s why people have felt only minor tremors.
Despite this, people felt this earthquake in Jhajjar and the electrical equipment installed in the houses were also seen shaking. People got scared for a while. However, due to the decrease in the intensity of the earthquake, people breathed a sigh of relief after a while.
