Violence again spread in West Bengal’s Hooghly, fierce stone pelting, local train services stalled

Hooghly. In many districts of West Bengal, information about the incident of stone pelting was received once again on Monday evening. After this, the Railways has decided to suspend all local and mail express train services to and from Rishra Railway Station.

According to Kaushik Miron, Chief Public Relations Officer of Easter Railway, the incident of stone pelting took place at Rishra railway station. He said, “All local and mail express train services have been suspended on the Howrah-Bardhaman main line for the safety of the common people.”

Violence has once again erupted in Rishra district of Hooghly district. Due to this, trains have stopped on Howrah-Burdwan main line. Trains have been stopped on the main line after the news of stone pelting came to the fore.

Heavy police force is present on the spot. Senior police officers are also reaching the spot. The news of violence has come to the fore in Subhashnagar Housing Society of Rishra. Along with the local train, the Bagh Express has also stopped.
