Mexico: Earthquake with a magnitude of 6.3 at midnight in Mexico

Mexico. Earthquake tremors have been felt in Mexico at 2 o’clock on Monday night. According to the information received, an earthquake with a magnitude of 6.3 occurred in central Mexico.

However, there has been no news of any loss of life or property. Earthquake tremors were also felt in the month of May last. On May 25, strong earthquake tremors were felt in the Caribbean Sea of the Panama-Colombia border.

Its intensity on the Richter scale was 6.6. Although it was a matter of relief that there was no damage due to the earthquake. Apart from this, earthquake tremors were felt in Mexico on May 18 as well.

Then the intensity of the earthquake was measured at 6.4 on the Richter scale. The epicenter of the earthquake was 2 kilometers southeast of the municipality of Canilla, Guatemala.

Explain that the main reason for earthquakes is the collision of the plates present inside the earth. There are a total of seven plates inside the earth, which keep on rotating continuously.

When these plates collide at some place, a fault line zone is formed there and the corners of the surface fold. The pressure that builds up there due to the turning of the corner of the surface.

Because of that the plates start breaking. Due to the breaking of these plates, the energy inside finds a way to come out, due to which the earth shakes and we consider it as an earthquake.
