It is noteworthy that the court had directed Tauqeer Raza to appear on March 11 i.e. today, considering him the mastermind of the 2010 riots in Bareilly. ADJ I Ravi Kumar Diwakar, who gave the verdict on Gyanvapi, has ordered the arrest of Tauqeer.

After the court order, the police went to serve the summons twice and returned empty handed. Even on Sunday, the police had reached his Bareilly residence, but it was locked. After which the police in its report mentioned that the house was locked and that Maulana Taukir was in Delhi. It has also been told that Tauqeer Raza is absconding along with his family

Let us tell you, till now Inspector Ashutosh Raghuvanshi of Premnagar police station was looking after Tauqeer Raza Khan’s hair. But today the court has ordered punitive and departmental action against him also. The reason behind which is that the Inspector did not serve the summons to Tauqeer Raza.
