Arunachal Pradesh: Earthquake of magnitude 4.0 felt in Pangin

Arunachal Pradesh: Earthquake tremors have been felt in Pangin town of Siang district of Arunachal Pradesh. The intensity of the earthquake was measured at 4.0 on the Richter scale.

According to the National Center for Seismology, tremors were felt in Arunachal Pradesh on Friday morning. The earthquake occurred at 8.50 am. The depth of the earthquake was at 10 km.

NCS tweeted, An earthquake of Magnitude: 4.0 occurred on 28-07-2023 at 08:50:36 IST, Latitude: 30.01 & Longitude: 94.48, Depth: 10 km, Location: 221 km from Pangin, Arunachal Pradesh, India NNW.

According to the NCS, earlier on July 22, an earthquake measuring 3.3 on the Richter scale hit Tawang in Arunachal Pradesh on Sunday morning.

According to National Center for Seismology, the earthquake occurred at 6.56 am, a 3.3 Richter scale earthquake at a depth of 5 km in Arunachal Pradesh.

NCS tweeted, “An earthquake of Magnitude: 3.3 occurred on 22-07-2023 at 06:56:08 IST, Latitude: 27.44 & Longitude: 92.51, Depth: 5 km, Location: Tawang, Arunachal Pradesh, India.”
