Washington: Elon Musk has made a big announcement by tweeting late on Thursday night. Actually, Elon Musk has said to leave the post of CEO of Twitter. Elon Musk tweeted that he has selected Twitter’s new CEO.
Although he has not revealed the name of the new CEO, but from his tweet it appears that he has selected a woman employee for the post of CEO of the microblogging platform.
Elon Musk wrote on Twitter, “I am pleased to announce that I have selected the new CEO of Twitter. She will take over her responsibility in six weeks. Now my role will transition to Twitter’s Executive Chairman and CTO.”
Excited to announce that I’ve hired a new CEO for X/Twitter. She will be starting in ~6 weeks!
My role will transition to being exec chair & CTO, overseeing product, software & sysops.

Let us tell you that Elon Musk will continue to look after the work of Twitter under the X Corp company and he has clarified his role in the tweet.
Earlier, Elon Musk had said that the company would remove inactive accounts. Elon Musk wrote in the tweet, “We are cleaning out accounts that have not had any activity for several years, so you will probably see a drop in the number of followers.”
