New Delhi. Northern Railway has released a list of more than 300 trains, whose services will be affected during the G-20 summit. According to Northern Railway, services of 207 trains have been cancelled, terminals of 15 trains have been changed and routes of six trains have been diverted.
An official statement said that keeping in view the advisories issued for security arrangements, these trains have either been canceled or temporarily diverted to other routes or stations between September 8 and 11.
Apart from this, additional stoppage stations have been given to 70 trains including Jammu Tawi-New Delhi Rajdhani, Tejas Rajdhani Hazrat Nizamuddin, Varanasi-New Delhi Tejas Rajdhani to reduce the inconvenience to passengers.
The Railways statement said that the starting and ending stations of 36 trains have also been changed and three trains will not stop at Kishanganj in Delhi during the summit.
A railway official said that those who have planned their journey during these days are advised to check train timings and routes to avoid any inconvenience.
