New Delhi: The Modi government at the Center is leaving no stone unturned to break the back of terror groups. Meanwhile, the central government has blocked 14 messenger mobile applications being used by terrorist groups in Jammu and Kashmir in another major action. These apps were used to get instructions from Pakistan. The government has taken this step on the recommendation of defense forces, intelligence agencies and investigative agencies.

Those apps include Creepvisor, Enigma, SafeSwiss, Vikram, MediaFire, Briar, BeeChat, Nandbox, Conion, IMO, Element, Second Line, Zangi, Threema, etc. Sources say that the agencies found that these apps were being used by terrorists in the valley to communicate with their supporters and on-ground workers. The government also found that the blocked apps have no representative in India.
According to Indian law, he could not be contacted to seek information. Agencies tried to contact App Management on several occasions, but they had no office in India to contact. These apps are blocked under Section 69A of the Information Technology Act, 2000.
Sources further said, most of these apps were designed to provide anonymity to users and their features were making it difficult for agencies to access these users. The Ministry of Home Affairs, through agencies, had found that these mobile apps were helping terrorists and their associates to engage in terrorist activities.
