Tsunami came after strong earthquake in Japan, high waves arose in the sea

Earthquake in Japan: Earthquake has occurred once again in Japan. A powerful earthquake of 7.4 magnitude has occurred in western Japan. The earthquake struck Noto, Ishikawa at 16:10 (JST). Due to Monday’s earthquake, an immediate tsunami warning was issued in Ishikawa.

Earthquake tremors were felt in the capital Tokyo and Kanto region. According to Japanese public broadcaster NHK, people were urged to quickly leave coastal areas and move to the tops of buildings or to higher ground due to the possibility of waves up to 5 meters high following a tsunami warning.

Waves more than 1 meter high hit the coast of Wajima city in Ishikawa. There is no report of any damage or casualties yet. Waves of 80 cm reached Toyama Prefecture at around 4:35 pm and waves of 40 m also reached Kashiwazaki, Niigata Prefecture at 4:36 pm. It also reached Sado Island in Niigata at 4:10 pm.

There is a possibility of tsunami reaching Yamagata and Hyogo prefectures also.The 2011 Tohoku earthquake and tsunami event, often referred to as the Great East Japan Earthquake and Tsunami, occurred. More than 18,000 people were killed as a result. Several thousand victims were also involved in this incident, who never recovered. The deadly earthquake was the largest ever recorded in Japan and the third largest in the world since 1900.
