Budget 2024:Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman initiated the presentation of the interim budget in Parliament. In her opening remarks, she expressed, “The nation looks ahead with optimism and hope. Guided by PM Modi’s leadership, we have witnessed remarkable transformations in the Indian economy over the past decade.
In 2014, formidable challenges confronted us, yet the government successfully navigated through them, implementing substantial structural and people-centric reforms.”Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman said that work has been started in the public interest. The public has been given maximum employment opportunities.
A new purpose and hope has arisen in the country. The public elected us to the government for the second time. We talked about comprehensive development. Move forward with the mantra of everyone’s support, everyone’s trust and everyone’s effort.
Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman said that work has been done to provide water to every household, electricity, gas, financial services and opening of bank accounts. Food concerns have been addressed. Free food grains have been provided to 80 crore people.
Basic needs have been fulfilled, due to which the income of people in rural areas has increased. India will become a developed nation by 2047. We are working to empower the people. We have ended corruption and nepotism.
