New Delhi. 46 matches of the Indian Premier League have been played and so far there is only 1 team whose place in the playoffs seems completely certain. Currently, 5 teams are on the same point while the condition of 3 is looking very bad. The struggle of the teams to make it to the next round of IPL continues.

Royal Challengers Bangalore have definitely kept their hopes alive with two consecutive wins but there is a danger of their elimination.Sanju Samson’s team Rajasthan Royals has shown tremendous performance this season. After playing 9 matches, they have secured 16 points by winning 8. It is almost certain that this team will reach the playoffs. The team which has been consistently on top in the points table has a great chance to qualify by remaining in first place.

Whereas the decision on which team will be in second place is becoming difficult.Barring Rajasthan Royals, it has been an ups and downs season for everyone in the tournament so far. Kolkata Knight Riders, Chennai Super Kings, Sunrisers Hyderabad, Lucknow Super Giants and Delhi Capitals have 10 points from 5 wins. Out of these, only one is Delhi which has played 10 matches whereas Kolkata has played only 8 matches.

Everyone else has 9 matches in their account. In such a situation, Shreyas Iyer’s team is a big contender to finish second.Virat Kohli’s Royal Challengers Bangalore made their path difficult with 6 consecutive defeats. Even though the team has won the last two consecutive matches, even after winning its remaining 4 matches, the team will be able to have only 14 points.

If she loses even 1 match, she will be out. Mumbai Indians and Punjab Kings have 5 matches left and both have 6 points. By winning all the matches, the team can reach 16 points but if it loses even one match, then it will have to rely on the net run rate to go to the playoffs.
