2 goods trains collided in West Bengal Bankura, 12 bogies derailed

New Delhi: A train accident has happened in Bankura, West Bengal. Here two goods trains collided with each other, after which many coaches derailed. The incident took place at Onda station at around 4 am on Sunday. The driver of a goods train has suffered injuries in the incident. According to sources, a goods train hit another goods train from behind, causing about 12 coaches to derail.

According to the information, this incident took place in Bankura, West Bengal at 4 am today. Sources said that when a goods train was passing through Onda station, another goods train hit it from behind. 12 coaches got derailed due to this incident. The coaches were scattered on the track after the incident. As soon as the people came to know about the accident, they reached the spot.

According to railway officials, both the goods trains were empty. What was the reason for the accident and how both the trains collided, it is still not clear. Many trains have been affected in Adra division due to this accident. After the accident, the railway officials are trying to open the up line as soon as possible, so that some trains like Purulia Express can pass through this division.

Let us tell you that Adra Railway Division (ADRA) provides services in 4 districts of West Bengal. These include West Midnapore, Bankura, Purulia and Burdwan. With this, 3 districts of Jharkhand, Dhanbad, Bokaro and Singhbhum come under South Eastern Railway.
