New Delhi: South Korean car manufacturer Hyundai has launched its sedan car Hyundai Verna in a new avatar (Hyundai Verna 2023) in India. The company has kept its starting price at 10.89 lakhs. The price goes up to Rs 17.37 lakh (ex-showroom, introductory) for the top variant. The Hyundai Verna was first launched in India in 2006. The new avatar gets a new turbo petrol engine, ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistant System) feature with interior and exterior changes.
The new Verna is offered in 4 variants. It has received 8000 bookings. Talking about the features of the new Hyundai Verna, it has a 10.25-inch HD touchscreen infotainment system, adjustable type infotainment and AC switch controller, 64 color ambient lighting, heated and cooled seats, electric sunroof, power adjustable driver seat.
Along with this, the new Verna gets BlueLink connected technology, Bose premium audio system, smart trunk. Its interior features a 10.25-inch digital instrument cluster, dual-tone black and white interior, ventilated front seats, etc.
Talking about the engine options of the new Hyundai Verna, it gets a 1.5-litre petrol engine that delivers 115 HP of power and 144 Nm of torque. At the same time, its 1.5-litre turbo-petrol engine provides 160 HP of power and 253 Newton meters of torque.
It gets a 6-speed manual gearbox as standard, while the turbo-petrol engine gets a 7-speed DCT gearbox. CVT gearbox option is available in the new Verna. It does not have a diesel engine option.
The 2023 Hyundai Verna comes with an advanced driver assistance system for safety that includes autonomous emergency braking, lane keep assist, adaptive cruise control, etc. It has 6 airbags, ABS with EBD, traction control, front and rear parking.
Its interior has two color options black and beige and black and red in the higher variant. It offers a 528-litre boot space and the car is offered in 7 single-tone and 2 dual-tone color options.
Talking about the design of the 2023 Hyundai Verna, the front gets a large radiator grille, a split headlight setup and a main headlight unit. It features LED DRLs that separate the bonnet and front bumper.
At the same time, its side part has a magnificent character line, sloping roofline and shark fin antenna, diamond cut alloy wheels. At the rear, there is an L-shaped tail light and LED light bar. At the back there is LED tail light and Hyundai logo.
