Uttarakhand: After Kedarnath, the doors of Badrinath Dham located in Uttarakhand have also opened for the pilgrims. The doors were opened amid melodious tunes of the Army Band and chants of ‘Jai Badri Vishal’ by the devotees.
During this, flowers were also showered from the helicopter. It is snowing heavily in Badrinath even before the doors open. Like every year, this year also the first puja and aarti will be held in the name of Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
Apart from the band of ITBP, Garhwal Scouts will also perform on this occasion. Shankaracharya has reached Avimukteshwaranand temple before the doors are opened. The temple is decorated with more than 15 tonnes of flowers
